Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Czech Hikes!

​

Your contract is with Czech Hikes, an individual entrepreneur registered in the Czech Republic (Tax Registration No. 19352042) whose office is at Sečská 1848/5, Praha 10, Strašnice, Czech Republic.

Application of Booking Conditions

​

Your contract with us is subject to these booking conditions. A contract will exist between us once you have reserved the tour with us and we have issued you with our booking confirmation. If any part of our contract with you is found to be invalid or unenforceable, then the remainder of it will not be affected and will remain valid and enforceable.

​

When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept and do accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions and agree on behalf of everyone traveling in your party to be bound by them. All bookings must be made by a person aged eighteen years or over. Where your booking is for more than one person, the first-named person in your party aged eighteen years or over will be treated by us as the 'lead name' for your booking. The lead name will be responsible for making all payments due to us in accordance with our contract.

Completion and submission by you of our Booking Form will be treated by us as confirmation that you have read, understood and accepted these booking conditions.

Payment

​

The full amount can be paid at the time of booking or in cash at the end of the tour. We accept payment by credit card, debit card or cash. Payment can be made in USD (online) or CZK, USD, EUR, GBP (cash).

​

Date of departure & collection timings

​

These are subject to change or cancellation, should unforeseen circumstances occur. Please reconfirm at time of booking. A tour is non refundable if you miss the departure time through no fault of ours. We are under no obligation to wait for late passengers, however we will make every effort to make sure you join the tour. Please ensure that you are at the stated departure point for your tour at least 10 minutes before the departure time. We cannot rebook or refund for you missing a tour as a result of delays on other transport such as the underground, buses, traffic or trains.

Children

​

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult with a maximum of 2 children for each adult booking to ensure safety. The minimum age for children traveling on Czech Hikes tour  is 3 years old.

​

Cancellations

​

If you wish, following the issue to you by us of our booking confirmation, to cancel your booking or any part of it relating to any person (in the case of a group booking), we will require your authority in writing, or in the case of a group booking, the authority in writing of the lead name to do so.

​

Our cancellation charges will apply (see the table 'cancellation charges' at paragraph below). These are calculated with reference to the date on which we receive your authority in writing. We will not refund to you any deposits, administration charges or any other fees or charges made by us and paid by you relating to your tour in the event of cancellation by you.

​

We incur costs from the time you make your booking and you agree that if you cancel your booking you will compensate us for our losses and expenses, as per the table below. Our cancellation charges increase the nearer the cancellation is made to your departure date as we may not be able to resell your tour without making significant price reductions, or at all.

​

Cancellation charges

​

Number of days left before your due date of departure when your authority in writing is received by us. Cancellation charge (expressed as a percentage of the total price):

​

3 - 2  days: 50%

​

1 day or less: 100%

​

If We Have to Cancel Your Tour

​

We reserve the right to cancel your tour:

​

  • in case that the tour will include less than 2 participants. 

  • due to natural disasters (floods, storms)

  • operational reasons

​

If this cancellation occurs, we will refund the full tour price paid to you. The refund will take between 5-10 business days.

 

Insurance

​

You are advised to take out insurance, which covers all of the activities you will be carrying out. This insurance should include emergency evacuation and repatriation costs in respect of all of your activities. Please note that the travel insurance provided by some credit card providers often only offers the minimum coverage and, whoever your insurer, you should always check for any exclusion of activities that you might be undertaking.

  • Sell, rent, or sub-license material from Czech Hikes

  • Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from Czech Hikes

  • Redistribute content from Czech Hikes

 

This Agreement shall begin on the date hereof.

Parts of this website offer users an opportunity to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. Czech Hikes does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments before their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Czech Hikes, its agents, and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who posts their views and opinions. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Czech Hikes shall not be liable for the Comments or any liability, damages, or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.

Czech Hikes reserves the right to monitor all Comments and remove any Comments that can be considered inappropriate, offensive, or causes breach of these Terms and Conditions.

You warrant and represent that:
